The Future Laboratory: Marketing Strategy + Communications

Brief:

To set-up and manage the marketing division at renowned consumer insights agency, The Future Laboratory, which specialises in trend forecasting, innovation planning and brand strategy, across 14 lifestyle sectors.

Deliverables:

During this role I was responsible for driving awareness and authority for the agency, as well as generating leads and sales through a mix of digital and offline channels and tactics, which resulted in a 9:1 return on investment.

Outcomes:

Branding - Creation and delivery of a new brand communications strategy across social media, email, press, landing pages and digital advertising. This resulted in a +261% in brand mentions, +166% in media coverage and +22% in brand recall.

Lead Generation - Implementation of marketing automation platform Hubspot, integrating with business CRM system and development of lead nurturing program, along with set-up of new digital team and campaigns, generated over 4,000 new leads and 65% YOY sales growth.

Activations - Managed the production and marketing of events and live experiences to launch new insights reports, including securing media partners and sponsors such as Dezeen, WWD, Campaign and Dell, among others. This resulted in +192% in ticket sales, +7,370% increase in report downloads, and +427% in people talking about the events on social media.
